"At the end of this month on behalf of DURFC I will be completing a 1000km charity cycle ride with 10000m of climbing around Wales over the course of 6 days in an effort to raise money for the Movember Foundation, to make up for my lack of ability to grow facial hair in November.
Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men’s health. Prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention – they’re taking them all on.
Since 2003, Movember has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, and shaking up men’s health research.
Over the course of the pandemic, it has highlighted to everyone the importance of looking after mental health in particular and looking out for others so a really worthwhile cause.
